In 2012 Lisa left her career in PR/Production to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a hairstylist at a Paul Mitchell based school. After being at the same salon for years, she was told she would never make it on her own. Five years later she decided to venture off on her own and prove everyone wrong. She turned Updosbylisa into a corporation and now has over 100 brides a year.

Lisa had the pleasure of working numerous occasions for lead designer Pnina Tornai, showcasing her bridal collections for New York Bridal Fashion Week and Good Morning America. 

In February 2020, Lisa was asked to join the hair team for The Oprah Winfrey 2020 Vision tour. She helped Oprah empower women’s beauty worldwide.

Though Lisa’s focus is now in bridal, she has also had the opportunity to work on movie sets that included Vivica Fox, Cody Calafiore, Andrew Rogers, and many others. She was also head stylist for Redfoo (former lead singer for LMFAO) when he was featured on MTV and ABC in New York City.
